What we collect

Account: email, name, password (hashed), optional country, bio and reward wallet address. Location: while a drop window you accepted is open, your GPS position every few seconds, with accuracy and speed. Outside windows we don't track you. Device integrity: whether the OS reports a mock location, whether the device appears rooted, and a device identifier, to detect cheating. Content: posts, photos, videos, comments and likes. Technical: IP address and browser/app details for security and rate limiting.

How we use it

To run drops and verify arrivals, to show the live race map to spectators (your name and position during a window you accepted), to send invites and notifications, to pay rewards, to detect fraud, and to moderate content.

What's public

Your name, avatar, bio, posts, wins, and — during an open drop — your live position. Your email, wallet address and device signals are never public.

Sharing

Infrastructure providers (hosting, database, media storage, email delivery, map tiles) process data on our behalf. Reward partners receive what's needed to deliver a reward you won. We share with authorities where legally required. We don't sell personal data.

Retention

Account data until you delete your account. Location pings from a drop are kept for 90 days for dispute resolution, then reduced to the verified arrival record. Content until you delete it.

Your rights

Access, correct, export or delete your data by contacting hello@getfit.family or from your account page. You can withdraw location permission at any time in your phone settings (you won't be able to race).

GetFit is for people 18 and over.
